1. Children Under the Age of 13.

HyperStrike cares about the safety of children. Since the content and services of Goalster are not directed towards kids, children under 13 are not allowed to register with Goalster or to participate in public posting areas on Goalster.


2. Children Ages 13 through 18.

With parental and/or legal guardian permission, minors between the ages of 13 to fewer than 18 years of age will be permitted to register with Goalster. With parental and/or legal guardian consent (and without parental and/or legal guardian consent of adult applicants 18 years of age and older), Goalster may collect certain personally identifiable information relevant to the registration by an applicant for a Goalster account, including but not limited to: name, address, and contact information (collectively referred to as “Personal Information”). Parents and/or legal guardians will have access to the applicant’s Personal Information and may at any time exercise their right to review, alter or remove any information about the applicant that they may deem inappropriate for disclosure to Goalster.

While applicant’s personal profiles can be viewed by any member of Goalster, the information WILL NOT include a home address, telephone number or private email address, and only the parent(s) and/or legal guardian, and members of Goalster will have access to anything but any information other than the most basic information about the applicant.


3. Information We Collect.

In addition to collecting your Personal Information in order for you to register with Goalster, tracking information is collected as you navigate through our site. To help us serve your needs better, we use "cookies" to store and sometimes track user information. A cookie is a small amount of data that is sent to your browser from a web server and stored on your computer's hard drive. Cookies can be disabled or controlled by setting a preference within your browser. For more information on cookies, please see the “How We Use Your Information” section below.


4. How We Use Your Information.

Among our primary goals in collecting information is to provide you with a customized experience when visiting our site and to make our site more valuable to you. We use this information to closely monitor which areas of the site are used most and to determine which areas we need to focus on improving. This information is used exclusively by HyperStrike in aggregate form so that we may continue to improve the value of the services and information on Goalster for our members as a whole.

We may also use Personal Information about you to deliver information to you that, in some cases, are targeted to your interests, such as targeted banners and promotions. You can receive such information by selecting the appropriate option on the preferences page. You can remove yourself from receiving such information by changing the appropriate option on your user account.

HyperStrike uses your Internet Protocol (IP) address to help diagnose problems with our computer server, and to administer our web site. Your IP address is used to help identify you, and to gather broad demographic data. Your IP address contains no personal information about you.

Users of Goalster should be aware that non-personal information and data may be automatically collected by virtue of the standard operation of HyperStrike’s computer servers or through the use of “cookies”. Cookies are files a web site can use to recognize repeat users, and allow a web site to track web usage behavior. Cookies take up minimal room on your computer and cannot damage your computer’s files. Cookies work by assigning a number to the user that has no meaning outside of the assigning web site. Users should be aware that HyperStrike cannot control the use of cookies (or the resulting information) by HyperStrike's advertisers or third-party partners. If you do not want information to be collected through the use of cookies, your browser allows you to deny or accept the use of cookies. There may, however, be some features on Goalster which require the use of cookies in order to customize the delivery of information to you.


5. Our Disclosure of Your Information.

HyperStrike does not sell or rent Personal Information about its customers to any third parties at this time. In the event HyperStrike does engage in such commerce in the future, you will have an opportunity to remove yourself from any such lists prior to your inclusion therein by emailing us at info@hyperstrike.com. HyperStrike does, however, perform statistical analysis of customer usage in order to measure interest in, and use of, the various parts of Goalster, and HyperStrike shares that information with current and prospective advertisers, and other interested third parties. But, this information is aggregated data only (statistics, etc.), and contains no personally identifiable information whatsoever.

HyperStrike cooperates with all law enforcement inquires and with all third parties to enforce their intellectual property or other rights.

You should be aware that if you voluntarily disclose Personal Information in chat areas, on bulletin boards, or in classified areas within Goalster, that information might be collected and disseminated by third-parties, and result in, among other things, unsolicited inquiries, messages, and offers from third-parties. Please understand that any information that is disclosed in these areas becomes public information and this third-party conduct is out of the control of HyperStrike. Please exercise caution when deciding to disclose your Personal Information.

The Goalster web site also contains links to other web sites. HyperStrike is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such web sites.


6. Security.

The Personal Information we collect is securely stored within our database, and we use standard, industry-wide practices such as encryption, firewalls and SSL (Secure Socket Layers) for protecting your information. However, as effective as encryption technology is, no security system is impenetrable. We cannot guarantee the security of our database, nor can we guarantee that information you supply won't be intercepted while being transmitted to us over the Internet. We recommend that you not disclose your password to anyone.


7. Revisions and Amendments.

This Privacy Policy is effective as of June 3, 2009. This Privacy Policy is not intended to and does not create any contractual or other legal rights in or on behalf of any party. We reserve the right, at any time and without notice, to add to, change, update or modify this Privacy Policy, simply by posting such change, update or modification on GOALSTER.COM. Any such change, update or modification will be effective immediately upon posting.
