How to Approve Emails for Use in Goalster

For security reasons, we added a mechanism to allow specific domain email addresses (or limit others) access to Goalster. This is required to start adding users, particularly when you want to keep business users separated.

Step 1.  Click ‘Settings’ and ‘Company Settings’

Step 2.  Scroll to the bottom and Click + under 'Approved Domains'

Step 3.  Enter the domain (e.g. gmail.com) (gmail.com))

Step 4.  Click 'Submit'

Step 1.  Click ‘People’ and ‘Departments’

Step 2.  Click ‘Add Departments’

Step 3.  Enter the details for your channel

Step 4.  Edit your profile to join your new department

Step 5.  Click ‘Channels’ and  ‘Add Channel’

Step 6.  Click ‘Add Channel’

Step 7.  Add details and an admin to your new channel

Step 1.  Click 'Content' and then 'Programs'

Step 2.  Click 'Add Program' and enter the details

Step 3.  Click 'Create activity', enter the details, and assign an order (Activity sequence)

Step 4.  Choose a 'Content Type' (Video, Article, Survey or Task) and enter/upload details

Step 5.  Click 'Submit'

Step 6.  Repeat with each activity (or module) of your program

***Each Program can have many activities, with each activity having the option of 1 x video, 1 x article, 1 x survey, and 1 x task (or a combination).

Only options which are filled out, or have data will display.

How to update the channel feature

Step 1.  Click 'Channels' and then 'Channel Feature'

Step 2.  Select the channel you'd like to adjust

Step 3.  Enter the details into each field (all required to save)

Step 4.  Click 'Save'

Step 1.  Click 'Content' and then 'Program Content'

Step 2.  Click 'Add content' and enter the details

Step 3.  Click the title and choose which content type from the drop down (e.g. Video)

Step 4.  Enter the details of the content and click 'Submit'

Step 5.  Click 'Submit'

Step 6.  To deploy content, click 'Publish' and then 'Schedule a Time'

Step 7.  Select which 'Channel' to deploy your content to

Step 1.  Click 'Programs' or 'Program Content'

Step 2.  Ensure content is published (individual activities, content or programs)

Step 3. Click the 'Schedule Time' (Clock) action button to select a deployment date and time

Step 4. Click 'Assign Channel' (TV action button) to select which channel sees the content

Step 5.  Click 'Save'

Users will immediately receive their user name and password immediately upon being added and will see the content that is displayed in their channel.

Step 1.  Click 'Content' and then 'Notifications'

Step 2.  Click 'Add notification'

Step 3.  Enter notification details

Step 4.  Select the users or departments to receive the notification

Step 5.  Click 'Submit'

Step 6.  Click 'Publish' and schedule deployment ('Clock' action button)

Step 7.  Click 'Save'

How to Create and Share Goals

Step 1.  From the Admin panel, click your 'Profile' and then 'My Goalster'

Step 2.  Click 'Goals' and the '+' to launch a new goal template

Step 3.  Enter your details and click 'Done' (note that we do not yet have autosave, so save often)

Step 4.  Head to the Admin Panel and find your user

Step 5.  Click the goal you'd like to Edit/Share by clicking '...' in the top right corner of the goal

**Assigning goals can be done immediately or in the future (and these goals can't be edited by users, only duplicated as a copy)

***Sharing a goal via 'Send to' immediately sends the goal in its current form, but it is immediately editable by the user
